Three, free gigs this week. Stoic folk, head-bashing badassery, plus a lil bit of everything by the river. x<\/span><\/p>\n

FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

This Fri everyone\u2019s favourite wise, stoic God of Folk returns to Rough Trade. Yurrrp <\/span>JIMI MACK <\/b><\/a>is back, bringing his old-school Folk vibes mixed with a bunch of influences from some of the finest musicians of the past few decades. Plus he\u2019s got a brand new single \u2018Run to the Sun<\/em>\u2019, which you\u2019ll obvs be able to hear on the night.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Supporting is the multi-talented ninja in <\/span>CAIUS BURNS<\/b><\/a>. Ya may recognise him from bossing everyting w\/ <\/span>KAGOULE<\/b><\/a>, but this is his solo project where he slows things down a bit, and sings everything from lovely\u2026 love songs, to acoustic fantasy epics. Ya have to see it to get it\u2026 and you\u2019ll be obsessed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nino\u2019s Blue Saloon <\/b>from Lancaster are also supporting.<\/span><\/p>\n

FRIDAY<\/b><\/p>\n

Eureka is back at <\/span>Albert\u2019s<\/b><\/a> (yes, the old Spanky\u2019s, RIP), and this week brings a proper awesome – proper eclectic lineup.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kicking things off are the Pop SUPERSTARS in <\/span>SAN JUNIPERO<\/b><\/a>. Absolute beasts at writing a mega pop beast that should be dominating charts all over the world. Which – in that intimate spot downstairs, will be proper tastyyyyy. <\/span>MARTY<\/b><\/a> are up next – with their Pop-infused Indie sounds – which, whilst experimental, still has all the bits and bobs that ya love about your favourite Indie playlists.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, headlining are <\/span>SUPER FURNITURE<\/a>,<\/b> the kinda Math-Rock-y, kinda Indie-y, kinda All-Over-The-Place (in a good way) four-piece. Chaotic on stage, and full of melodies and breakdowns that will 1000% make you wish ya never gave up being in a\u00a0 band when you were 14.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nottingham\u2019s legendary Riverside Festival returns this weekend – meaning ya can get some candy floss, have a gander at our beaut Trent, also seduce those tabs of yours w\/ a bunch of ace Notts music.<\/span><\/p>\n

As ever – there’s a bunch of stages and many doses of awesomeness. Friday ya can see the Bluesy badassery of <\/span>JONNY OLLEY<\/b><\/a>, the Soul-Pop sauce of<\/span> MOLLIE RALPH<\/b><\/a> + more. And on the Sat – everything from the Pop-bliss of <\/span>HOLLY FALLON<\/b><\/a>, through to the Indie sickness of <\/span>SCOTT BUGG & THE VITAL FEW<\/b><\/a>. Well worth the 0p.<\/span><\/p>\n
