We&#8217;ve got yet another wicked line up for you this week, starting with&#8230;<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong>BANDS IN THE SANDS 2011<\/strong> at <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/nottinghamartstheatre\">Nottingham Arts Theatre<\/a><\/strong> on Wednesday 23rd Nov.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThe annual Battle of the Bands competition is back to offer young bands from Nottingham the chance to win gigs, CD Vouchers and studio time. This is an opportunity to see some of the potential huge bands of tomorrow performing in an intimate venue.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nExpect to hear original music and covers from some of Nottingham&#8217;s most exciting bands.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nPrevious champions of the competition, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GreatBritishWeatherOFFICIAL\">GREAT BRITISH WEATHER<\/a><\/strong> will treat the punters to some indie dance fun mayhem on the night whilst the judges make up their minds. Check out our Future Session with them <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/future-session-08-great-british-weather\/\">here<\/a>.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nDoors: 7pm<br \/>\nTickets: \u00a33.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/acoustickle\">ACOUSTICKLE<\/a><\/strong> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/17867054896\/\"><strong>The Alley Cafe<\/strong><\/a> on the 24th of November.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nWe have performances to look forward to from Charlotte Carpenter and PP Dog before we are spoiled with some of Nottingham&#8217;s finest acoustic acts.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/breadchasersska\">GAZ RASCAL<\/a><\/strong> of the reggae, ska-fuelled outfit Breadchasers is on next. His political punk passion intertwined with gravelly vocals make this guy an endearing solo artist. Fans of The Skints will enjoy.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nFinally we have <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Adam-Peter-Smith\/98262199923\">ADAM PETER SMITH<\/a><\/strong>. Adam&#8217;s busker vibes and incredible vocal range create an acoustic sound that is ridiculously chilled. Proudly occupying our Artist of the Month spot for November, <strong>SWIMMING<\/strong> are a fluid fusion of psychedelic, indie, futuristic pop.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nAlso playing are MOSCOW YOUTH CULT, another one of Nottingham&#8217;s musical babies.
