Our top 3 gigs last week were incredibly good fun but this week is looking just as exciting!<\/p>\n

First up we have HARLIKINGS<\/strong><\/a> supporting THE ORDINARY BOYS <\/strong>at ROCK CITY<\/a><\/strong> on 7th December.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This is a must see gig! HARLIKINGS<\/a><\/strong> supporting THE ORDINARY BOYS <\/strong>on their first tour in five years. You\u2019ll obviously already be in love with HARLIKINGS<\/a><\/strong>, after their spectacular performance on our future sessions (if you haven\u2019t already seen it, check it out right here<\/a><\/strong>, right now!).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The only way I can describe the HARLIKINGS<\/strong><\/a> sound: sounds like good times! Tunes to make memories too. THE ORDINARY BOYS <\/strong>have a tough set to follow. As fun as THE ORDINARY BOYS’ <\/strong>set is likely to be…don’t be surprised if HARLIKINGS<\/strong><\/a> steal the show!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n DOORS: 7pm <\/p>\n <\/p>\n For the second week running we have a choice of two gigs on the same night! So unless you can clone yourself between now and then make sure you choose wisely on how to spend your thursday evening.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n TIMESTEALERS<\/a><\/strong>, THE FADE<\/a><\/strong>, THE BYSTANDERS<\/a><\/strong>, NIGHTMARE ARCADE<\/strong> at THE MAZE<\/strong><\/a> on the 8th December.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Opening the night are NIGHTMARE ARCADE<\/strong> followed by THE BYSTANDERS<\/a><\/strong> whose alternative, indie\/rock vibe are a vibrant addition to the Nottingham music scene. You’d be foolish to miss them, check out our Future Session here<\/a><\/strong>…and then go watch them live!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Next up\u00a0is one of the most exciting bands in Nottingham at the moment, THE FADE<\/a><\/strong>. Their brand of bluesy rock has a raw, made-in-a-garage feel to it which when experienced live is intensely good. The bands interests include “drinking whiskey and abusing instruments”, sounds like a lot of fun.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n To end the night we have the TIMESTEALERS<\/a><\/strong>, which are one of the most unique bands you are likely to find. Down to earth lyrics over a latin pop sound that smells like gypsy spirit. Fans of GOGOL BORDELLO<\/strong> will love TIMESTEALERS<\/a><\/strong>. Get ready for unintended awkwardness on stage and hilarious dancing.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n DOORS: 7.30pm <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Your other option for a wicked thursday night…<\/p>\n <\/p>\n TIMOTHY J SIMPSON<\/strong> 2nd Album Launch – “You’d be alright in Florida”<\/a> at THE BODEGA<\/a> <\/strong>on the 8th of December.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n WILL JEFFREY AND THE WILD GENTRY<\/strong><\/a> deliciously rustic delivery is sweetened by a gravelly voice you WILL fall in love with. There\u2019s rhythm and charm and it\u2019s all a little bit sexy. Self-described as \u201cbeautifully shambolic smoky folk\u201d, we couldn\u2019t have said it better. Dare you to try and take your ears off him. Also supporting is JONNY NEESON<\/strong>, featuring in\u00a0TIMOTHY J SIMPSON’S<\/a> <\/strong>track \u2018The Viewpoints on the Working Week\u2019. And the album we\u2019ve been itching to hear \u2013 \u201cYou\u2019d be alright in Florida\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
