If you attend all of our Top 3 gigs and throw in a cheeky mosh at <strong>Hit The Deck Festival<\/strong> on Sunday evening then you could risk a live music overdose.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong>GIG ONE<\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\nThey say the best things in life come free, right? You won\u2019t have to pay a penny to witness some of Nottingham\u2019s finest in the form of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/pages\/FISTS\/85191506749\">FISTS<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/KagouleUK\">KAGOULE<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/pages\/Cantaloupe\/226813987350939\">CANTALOUPE<\/a><\/strong> at the <b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/events\/308930129165124\/\">Leftlion Presents<\/a><\/b> event at <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nottinghamcontemporary.org\/\">Nottingham Contemporary<\/a><\/strong> on April 21st. The official UN-official after party for the <strong>FUTURE SOUND of NOTTINGHAM<\/strong> Semi Finals! And the OFFICIAL after-party for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/The-Music-Exchange\/253092283959\">THE MUSIC EXCHANGE<\/a>&#8216;s<\/strong> all day celebrations in honour of<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/RecordStoreDay?ref=ts\">RECORD STORE DAY<\/a><\/strong>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/leftlion?ref=ts\">Leftlion <\/a><\/strong>Music Editor Paul K will be playing something called vinyl during the day alongside <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HelloThor?ref=ts\">Hello Thor<\/a><\/strong> head honcho Anders.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nAfter a whirlwind mini-tour of East Coast America including dates in Boston and New York, Nottingham welcomes indie-rockers <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/pages\/FISTS\/85191506749\">FISTS<\/a><\/strong>  back with open arms. Having played sets at <b>Summer Sundae<\/b> and a lil\u2019 backyard festival one or two of us know as <b>Glastonbury<\/b>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/pages\/FISTS\/85191506749\">FISTS<\/a><\/strong> will have you running to the dance floor, make sure you&#8217;re there.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nNext up, post-punk grunge rockers <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/KagouleUK\">KAGOULE<\/a><\/strong> bring their unique atmospheric sound to this brilliant line up. Formed just over a year ago and having recently signed to label <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/HelloThor\"><strong>Hello Thor<\/strong><\/a>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/pages\/Cantaloupe\/226813987350939\">CANTALOUPE<\/a><\/strong> effortlessly fuse together synthy elements of afrobeat and disco that will finish off\/start (we don&#8217;t know set times yet!) your night with added oomph.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThis event is a one-off and seriously has something for everyone, don\u2019t miss out!<br \/>\n<br \/>\nPRICE: FREE<br \/>\nDOORS: 8pm<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong>GIG TWO<\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\nAlso on Saturday night but on a different vibe at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/nottinghamplayhouse\">Nottingham Playhouse<\/a><\/strong> is <strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/pages\/Elena-Hargreaves\/254131931302004\">ELENA HARGREAVES<\/a><\/strong> with her band and support from sister Stephanie.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nAfter recently wowing the Nusic team at a FUTURE SESSION (Watch <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/future-session-17-47-%e2%80%93-the-hargreaves\/\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>) with their beautiful melodies, stunning song writing ability and incredible vocals, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/pages\/The-Hargreaves\/358286324200871\">THE HARGREAVES<\/a><\/strong> will definitely not leave you disappointed (whether its one or both of the sisters). Elena is a modern day contemporary pop musician who writes her own original tracks and performs with great flair and grace and even sings some songs in spanish to pay homage to her Columbian roots. Expect an evening of original music, fun duets and unexpected music compositions.
