Nope we are going to make changes for next year (as we have done every year) or at least one change.
\n
\nWe have never had an artist win Round One with the expert judges so clearly as Indiana did this year, she was a stand out discovery and for her not to get through the public vote really made us question the current system, we want it to be fair, just AND ‘accurate’. Now in it’s defense we ended up with a consistently worthy winner. The Afterdark Movement finished second to Indiana in Round One, then won Round Two before winning the final overall with a victory in the Judges category and a third in the public vote. But Indiana didn’t so what are we going to do about it?
\n
\nNEW RULE FOR 2012<\/strong> – The winner of the Round One ‘expert vote’ will get an automatic pass to the Final.
\n
\nThe other change we are considering we’re really keen to hear your thoughts on. We are wondering whether we should tweak the 50% judges\/ 50% public vote of the FINAL?
