Even so early in the day the energy in the crowd is buzzing and intensifies throughout their set, rounded off perfectly with the ridiculously catchy &#8216;<em>Since I&#8217;ve Been Here<\/em>&#8216;.  An effortless combination of urban, hip-hop and funk, these guys have created a sound that is completely unique and can only get better. Having just announced his invasion of the USofA alongside <strong>NOEL GALLAGHER<\/strong> and securing crowds in their hundreds at T in the Park, there\u2019s no doubting this fresh-faced lad is on the cusp of superstardom and his Main Stage set shows everyone exactly why.  Showcasing his versatility to perfection, Jake\u2019s heart-stopping rendition of <em>\u2018Someone Told Me<\/em>\u2019 stuns a packed crowd into silence while fan favourite \u2018<em>Trouble Town<\/em>\u2019 has people dancing like nobody\u2019s watching.  If you havn\u2019t caught <strong>Bugg Fever<\/strong> yet, you soon will!<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Jake-Bugg.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Jake-Bugg.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Jake Bugg\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5853\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><BR><br \/>\n<strong>JAGERMEISTER STAGE:<\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/sinnershighway\">SINNERS HIGHWAY<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\nAfter an explosive debut headline show that nearly caved in the roof of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rock-city.co.uk\/\">Rock City<\/a> Basement a month ago, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/sinnershighway\">SINNERS HIGHWAY<\/a><\/strong> are gaining a reputation for bringing a gourmet feast of rock n roll to the table, served with extra dashings of gusto &#038; high energy impact \u2013 and their opening set at the Jagermeister Stage is no exception.  Despite the early start, the band give an incredible performance and show a little slice of what is to be their upcoming UK Tour. The vocals are raw and delivered with relentless power, and despite a mere 3 band members the wall of sound created is pure magic. If you haven\u2019t seen these guys live yet, I highly recommend you do so soon!<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/The-Barnum-Meserve.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/The-Barnum-Meserve.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"The Barnum Meserve\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5857\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/kappagammamusic\">KAPPA GAMMA<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\nIt\u2019s been a good few weeks for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/kappagammamusic\"><strong>KAPPA GAMMA<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 not only have they secured a loyal following in Notts, but they\u2019re about to go National after their debut single \u2018<em>Wildfire\u2019<\/em> (out August 13th) has been played on Radio 1.  Not bad going, eh?  Their complex and unusual sound, or \u2018Geography rock\u2019 as the band have dubbed it, is an efforltess mix of disjointed rhythms and quirky vocals and onstage is where it really comes alive.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/ohronikagirl\">RONIKA<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\nFollowing her recent collaboration with <strong>HERVE<\/strong> producing the summer thumper \u2018How can I live without you (make it right)\u2019 and cementing slots at London\u2019s legendary XOYO, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/ohronikagirl\"><strong>RONIKA<\/strong><\/a> and her 80\u2019s vibes are making synthy soundwaves throughout the Nation.  Her electric rhythms have the crowd eating from the palm of her hand and there isn\u2019t a single person not on their feet \u2013 it\u2019s a vibrant performance from a soon to be superstar.<br \/>\n(Unfortunately we don&#8217;t have a photo from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/ohronikagirl\"><strong>RONIKA<\/strong><\/a>&#8216;s set. Our photographer was on Wayne Manor&#8217;s roof at the time&#8230;casual.)<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong>LEFTLION COURTYARD STAGE:<\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/JoshuaKeoghs\">JOSH KEOGH<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\nDon\u2019t be fooled by his boyish fa\u00e7ade \u2013 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/JoshuaKeoghs\">JOSHUA KEOGH<\/a><\/strong> voice is one so deceptively innocent it can completely emotionally disarm you in a nanosecond.  Despite having once said he harboured concerns that his songs were too dark and depressing, (don\u2019t worry Josh, we wouldn\u2019t have it any other way) he nonetheless carefully delivers each emotionally charged melody one by one and opens the Leftlion stage in style. Having made it to the Finals of last years FSON but narrowly being pipped to the post, this delicately voiced banterful lass has been going from strength to strength on the local scene.  Each song is delivered with gusto and the audience are hanging on to every word \u2013pure magic!<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Opie.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Opie.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Opie\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5860\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/iamindianauk\"><strong>INDIANA<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>\nNext on stage is the shy but nevertheless captivating <ahref=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/iamindianauk\"><strong>INDIANA<\/strong><\/a>.  After being precariously plucked from thin air and thrust into the limelight after her mesmerising track \u2018<em>Blind as I Am<\/em>\u2019 caused the judges jaws to drop in the first round of FSON 2012, the rise and rise of <ahref=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/iamindianauk\"><strong>INDIANA<\/strong><\/a> has been an unstoppable force.  Despite not getting through the public vote of the competition (she only had 33 Twitter followers at the time\u2026), she is now clocking up over 7,000 listens in the US alone \u2013 looks like it\u2019s not only us Nottonians that are succumbing to her enchanting voice.  Her haunting renditions of <em>&#8216;Erase&#8217; <\/em>and <em>&#8216;Gabriel&#8217;<\/em> command the audience\u2019s attention from the first note and manage to keep a packed crowd engaged right through to the end. We&#8217;ve said it many times before, we&#8217;ll say it again, the only question is precisely how massive this girl is going to become, huge talent.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Indiana.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Indiana.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Indiana\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5861\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/SaintRaymondMusic\">SAINT RAYMOND<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/SaintRaymondMusic\">SAINT RAYMOND<\/a><\/strong> has managed to achieve an impressive amount in the last year; he already has a \u2018The Beat\u2019 BBC session and a headline gig at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/bodeganotts\"><strong>The Bodega<\/strong><\/a> under his belt, not bad for a lad of only 17. Unfazed by the more experienced artists that had taken the stage before him, his simple yet unfathomably catchy acoustic set is infectious and has soon plastered wide smiles on the faces of the audience.  Definitely one to watch!<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/St-Raymond.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/St-Raymond.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"St Raymond\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5862\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/robgreenmusic\"><strong>ROB GREEN<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<br \/>\nDespite the first song he learned to sing being \u2018<em>You Make Me feel like a Natural Woman<\/em>\u2019 by <strong>SHANIA TWAIN<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/robgreenmusic\"><strong>ROB GREEN<\/strong><\/a> has thankfully managed to find other musical influences in the form of <strong>NAT KING COLE<\/strong> and <strong>BEVERLY KNIGHT<\/strong> and has one of the biggest voices (and personalities) on the local scene.  His infectious endearing charm is unleashed and his gleaming confidence on stage is staggering to behold \u2013 there\u2019s no doubting this ex-singing teacher was born to perform and the entire crowd is AWE.  Belting out each track as if they were his last, the crowd are powerless to resist his magnetic charm and the result is a sea of shaking hips and palms in the air. After initially being taken under the wings of hip-hop gurus during her first years in the industry, <ahref=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/nina.smith.71404\"><strong>NINA SMITH<\/strong><\/a> has managed to nurture her soft songbird voice into the soulful powerhouse it is today and has been at the forefront of Nottingham\u2019s scene for 3\/4 years.  With the atmospheric electric aftermath of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/robgreenmusic\"><strong>ROB GREEN<\/strong><\/a>&#8216;s performance, Nina manages to use this to her advantage with skill &#038; poise &#038; her special rendition of \u2018<em>2 become 1\u2019<\/em> by the <strong>SPICE GIRLS<\/strong> is a particular crowd pleaser \u2013 definitely one for the ipod.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Nina-Smith.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nusic.org.uk\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Nina-Smith.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Nina Smith\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5863\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/NatalieDuncanOfficial\">NATALIE DUNCAN<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/NatalieDuncanOfficial\">NATALIE DUNCAN<\/a><\/strong> is the first Nottingham artist this decade to have released an album that is backed by a major record label \u2013 and it\u2019s easy to see why.  \u2018Devil in Me\u2019 is a compilation of dark and captivating melodies sung with a voice that is wrapped in smoky allure \u2013 complete with a retro jazzy twist.
