\"\"<\/a>It\u2019s the album Nottingham\u2019s been holding its breath for, and on October 8th DOG IS DEAD<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s long awaited debut \u2018All Our Favourite Stories\u2019<\/em> will be hitting the shelves (although it’s sure to be flying off them just as quickly).

\nSince their very first Future Session<\/a><\/strong> with us back in October 2009 (which you can see HERE<\/a><\/strong>), DOG IS DEAD<\/a><\/strong> have gone from strength to strength, their \u2018big pop\u2019 sound taking them from cult indie band to the cusp of stardom. With firm fan favourites \u2018Glockenspiel Song<\/em>\u2019 and \u2018Two Devils<\/em>\u2019 earning praise from the likes of Nick Grimshaw and Huw Stephens, \u2018All Our Favourite Stories<\/em>\u2019 promises to deliver ten tracks of indie-pop anthems ranging from the impossibly catchy \u2018Teenage Daughter<\/em>\u2019 to the softer, melodic harmonies of \u2018Any Movement\u2019<\/em>.

\nTo celebrate the album\u2019s release and to say a big ol\u2019 thanks to their home-grown fans, the five-piece will be doing a very special, one-off performance that same day where they play the album in full. Taking place at The Boat Club<\/strong>, a venue the band played in their early days, DOG IS DEAD<\/a><\/strong> will perform \u2018All Our Favourite Stories<\/em>\u2019 in all its glory to an intimate audience of family, friends and fast-acting fans. Fancy being one of them? Tickets go on sale Monday at 5pm, so whack the date in your diary and set an alarm as they are guaranteed to sell out almost instantly. And why wouldn\u2019t they? With anthemic choruses, soaring melodies and harmonies as tight as Trev\u2019s curls, DOG IS DEAD<\/a><\/strong> are one of the most exciting bands around at the moment and we couldn\u2019t be prouder to have played our small part in their story (see what we did there?).
