\nBands and solo acts are equally welcome giving you the chance to catch a wide range of Nottingham talent, jamming and collaboration sessions are also being encouraged. The nights featured act will be none other than WILL JEFFERY<\/a><\/strong>, the delightful folk singer will be hitting the sonic sweet spot as he always does with his smoky tone. Get you\u2019re heads ready to sway and feet ready to tap!

\nTaking a back seat from band life, RAINBOW DOWN<\/a><\/strong> began writing and producing his own stuff back in 2008. His 80\u2019s pop inspired influences include Wich-House to 8 bit. His slick Electro beats will have you wishing you were at an early 90\u2019s rave, hitting it hardcore! Feeling something funky, fresh, and twisted up with back-in-the-day vibes? Well then RAINBOW DOWN<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s your man.

\nFun Fact: the band is named after their favourite noodle box from their local Wok & Go! Their indie\/rock sound mixed up with lead singer James\u2019 chilled vocals will have you transfixed. Sitting somwhere in the significant sonic gap between Red Hot Chilli Peppers<\/strong> and Two Door Cinema Club<\/strong>, these chaps really need to be heard for that last sentence to make sense!

\nFinally we have WE WERE HUMAN<\/a><\/strong>! These guys are no strangers to The Maze<\/strong>, after smashing it up only just a few weeks ago. This three piece band look up to the likes of Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters<\/strong> and Nirvana<\/strong> having began in 2010. The grunge\/rock trio will have you on your feet in a flash.

If you\u2019re a lover of big and bold rock, you won\u2019t be disappointed, just ask anyone who saw them supporting BABY GODZILLA at The Bodega.

\nHard Punk rockers GIRLFIXER<\/a><\/strong> offer something exciting. Taking influences from Rage Against The Machine, Foo Fighters and The Distillers<\/strong>, GIRLFIXER<\/a><\/strong> drill up ringing metal core riffs. Sweat and blood goes into their performance, so much that you\u2019ll be banging your head in no time. Bring on the sweat, rock and roll.

The five piece band has been around since 2000, entertaining souls with their energy, drive and volume. \nFuture Sound of Nottingham<\/a><\/strong> finalists CRASH JACKET<\/a><\/strong> will be taking stage giving you a blend of Indie funk beats! Fusing influences from across genres, these guys create a whirlwind of unstoppable riffs, which is set to blow your mind. CRASH JACKET<\/a><\/strong> are surely making a name for themselves, listen out for anthem \u2018Wish You Could Be Here<\/em>\u2019.

\nLIAM O\u2019KANE<\/a><\/strong>
\nThe wonderful LIAM O\u2019KANE<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s up next. Hailing from Radford, Liam\u2019s upbeat acoustic goodness tinged with Reggae and Soul is a guaranteed smile riser. Also one fifth of Ska madhouse JIMMY THE SQUIRREL<\/a> <\/strong>, LIAM O\u2019KANE<\/a><\/strong> is the perfect fit for the fresher festivities.

\nSHANKLAND<\/a><\/strong>
\nContinuing with the party atmosphere is one man band SHANKLAND<\/a><\/strong>. Acoustic Ska that\u2019ll get you party rocking, his tight vocals and lyrics tinged with cynicism always charm the crowd. Fresh and fun, keep your ears peeled for personal fave \u2018Wasting Time<\/em>\u2019.

\nTIMOTHY J SIMPSON<\/a><\/strong>
\nSure to get the room dancing like a barn dance is TIMOTHY J SIMPSON<\/a><\/strong>. An established staple of the Notts folk scene, Timothy\u2019s fusion of country beats, smooth as velvet vocals and oh so witty lyrics always prove an inevitable hit. Folky fun that\u2019ll get your toes a-tappin\u2019, students get your check shirts at the ready.

\nDRUNKEN BASTARD<\/a><\/strong>
\nPerhaps the most fitting name for a bar filled with freshers, DRUNKEN BASTARD<\/a><\/strong> are next on the bill. Expect drunken metal messiness from these hairy moshers as well as a whole load of beer and fun. Don\u2019t let the name put you off, DRUNKEN BASTARD<\/a><\/strong> are a band not to be missed.

\nSTUCK IN 2ND<\/a><\/strong>
\nEasily one of the happiest quartets going, STUCK IN 2ND<\/a><\/strong> will bring some much needed metaphorical sunshine to the event. Influenced by \u2018summer and sand\u2019, their Ska\/Acoustic\/Reggae tunes with big ass beats will bring a distinct vibe to the gig getting the room jumping.

\nLEE TABIX<\/a><\/strong>
\nHuman beatboxer LEE TABIX<\/a><\/strong> will wow you next. Someone who makes extraordinary sounds with just his mouth, his ability to imitate any song with no backing is completely captivating.

\nCompleting the bill will be Yes My Ninjas!, Mike Only [Ex-King Blues], Mr Shira, Acolourfall, A Great Notion and One Suspicious Monkey<\/strong>.
