It might just be him and his guitar but there&#8217;s so much depth to his playing that you won&#8217;t even realise.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nDoors: 7.30pm<br \/>\nTickets: \u00a33<br \/>\n<br \/>\nNext, on Wednesday (22nd) <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Spotlight-Kid\/278020177859\">SPOTLIGHT KID<\/a><\/strong> will be headlining their own show at <strong>The Bodega Social Club<\/strong>. They&#8217;re warming up for playing in some field somewhere called Glaston-something???<br \/>\n<br \/>\nOne of the most talked about Nottingham bands of the last twelve months get their big chance to get on the telly next weekend on the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury so they thought they&#8217;d better get some practice in!<br \/>\n<br \/>\nSupporting will be <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/frontiersofficial\">FRONTIERS<\/a><\/strong> another much talked about Nottingham band who combine energy and <strong>Indie<\/strong> to produce some cracking anthems. They had the pleasure of playing the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds back in Aug 2009 so know all about the fun that awaits SK.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/iamlono.uk\">I AM LONO<\/a><\/strong> are an <strong>Electronica<\/strong>\/<strong>Experimental<\/strong> two piece band creating chilled out beats.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nAnd <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/jakebugguk\">JAKE BUGG<\/a><\/strong> will play <strong>Folk<\/strong> and <strong>Country<\/strong> music so mature you won&#8217;t be able to believe he&#8217;s only 17! Big things lined up for this guy who also is playing Glastonbury, <strong>country bumpkins watch out Notts is coming to get ya!<\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\nDoors: 7pm<br \/>\nTickets: \u00a35<br \/>\n<br \/>\nAnd finally, not because we&#8217;re biased or anything, but over the whole weekend (25th\/26th) the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/event.php?eid=198849180161301\">FUTURE SOUND OF NOTTINGHAM<\/a><\/strong> semi-finals will take place at <strong>The Market Square<\/strong>. And they are going to be A to the mazing!<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong>Eleven Nottingham acts get to live the dream<\/strong> and play argubly Nottingham&#8217;s most iconic space, not to mention the fun and frolics of chilling backstage with those party animals &#8211; Left and Right Lion!<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThis is a PUBLIC SHOWCASE for the public vote where you can come down and check out the semi-finalists in person, allowing you to make an informed choice General Election styley on who you think should make it the Rock City <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/event.php?eid=176113592441960\">FINAL<\/a>!<br \/>\n<br \/>\nCheck out our <strong>Nusic New Music Podcast<\/strong> out tomorrow morning (Mon 20th).
