\nWe have no doubt 2013 is going to be huge for INDIANA.<\/a><\/strong> To round off a mind-blowing last eight months, INDIANA<\/a><\/strong> will be performing a very special gig at The Nottingham Contemporary<\/a><\/strong> this Saturday (15th).
\n
\nThis is INDIANA’s<\/a> <\/strong> very first headline gig. The ‘Blind As I Am’<\/em> star first came to prominence back in April in our Future Sound of Nottingham<\/strong> Competition. Her spine tingling vocals, compelling melodies and enchanting stage presence stunned the crowd into silence, an oft used cliche but in this case 100% accurate, no one there will ever forget it. Immediately establishing herself not just as one of Nottingham\u2019s leading female artists but one of the most talked about in the UK, INDIANA<\/a><\/strong> is one of those talents where there is no question about ‘if’, it is simply about ‘when’. She is exactly the sort of artist The BBC Sound of 2013 Poll should be identifying and featuring prominently.

\nROB GREEN<\/a><\/strong>
\nROB GREEN<\/a><\/strong> will be stopping by for our audio pleasure, performing material from his new EP and previous releases. The last 12 months have seen him appear on the radars of many around the country. His Future Session<\/a><\/strong> was released at the end of 2011, he has since been featured on BBC Introducing<\/strong> slot, played to a roadblock crowd at Splendour and thanks to the afore-mentioned BBC Introducing been played on BBC 1Xtra, not a bad 12 months!

\nHARLEIGHBLU<\/a><\/strong>
\nSupporting will be Nottingham\u2019s leading lady of Soul HARLEIGHBLU<\/a><\/strong>. Expect a mash-up of Soul and R\u2019n\u2019B infused harmonies for your listening and dancing pleasure. \nI’m Not From London<\/a><\/strong> Presents JOANNA HUDSON’S<\/a><\/strong> “Home” album launch this Friday<\/strong> at The Jam Caf\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> The dress code for the night is 1920\u2019s; think hooch runners, jazz singers and the whole Prohibition era.

\nJOANNA HUDSON<\/a><\/strong>
\nJOANNA HUDSON’s<\/strong> debut album \u2018Home\u2019 is appropriately named seeing as it was written and recorded on the piano in her family home. Even more appropriate is the setting of her launch party; the Jam Caf\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> has got to be one of the few venues that could double as your front room.
\n
\nROGUE MULE<\/a><\/strong>
\nProviding the support is the delightful folk outfit ROGUE MULE<\/a><\/strong>, they can craft a song and sing beautifully. A mellow pleasure for all to enjoy, think striped back folk executed flawlessly.
\n
\nJOE DANKS<\/a><\/strong> will also be gracing us with his repertoire of pop folk creations and performing new material from his fresh off the press E.P released on December 10th (hear a track on the podcast<\/a><\/strong>). 2012 has been a fantastic year for him, placing in the top three in the Future Sound of Nottingham<\/strong> competition in June and being selected to play the Branch Out Festival <\/strong>.

\nLISA DE’VILLE<\/a><\/strong>
\nAlso performing on the night is LISA DE’VILLE<\/a><\/strong>, an acoustic artist with incredible heartfelt songwriting ability. Armed with a guitar and the wholesomeness of her band, LISA DE’VILLE\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> music is very refreshing to enjoy and listen to. LISA DE’VILLE<\/a><\/strong> grew up listening to artists like Joni Mitchel<\/strong> and Nick Drake<\/strong> who have influenced her style and approach to create intricate uplifting music.
