No we&#8217;re not sure what that means either but it sounds fun and the line-up is siiccckkkk.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong>The Main Room Line Up:<\/strong><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dickvenom.com\">DICK VENOM &#038; THE TERRORTONES<\/a><\/strong><\/strong><br \/>\nLets just say, its going to get very hot and sweaty with <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dickvenom.com\">DICK VENOM &#038; THE TERRORTONES<\/a><\/strong>. Described by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.themazerocks.com\/gig\/new-years-eve-sci-fi-twist\">The Maze<\/a><\/strong> itself as the \u2018King of Chaos\u2019, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dickvenom.com\">DICK VENOM<\/a><\/strong> and his band <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dickvenom.com\">THE TERRORTONES <\/a><\/strong>will give you a crushing (and most probably filthy) insight into his rock n roll dream (perhaps that should that be fantasy?). Playing a near orchestral range of instruments (from the guitar through to the sax and trombone) their unique sounds will keep you dancing on your toes into the small hours of the night, making for an unforgettable time. Drawing their influences from the likes of <strong>The Beatles<\/strong>, <strong>Elvis Costello <\/strong>&#038; <strong>The Attractions <\/strong>and <strong>Buddy Holly<\/strong>, this band have an incredible last two years. After getting to the finals of our <strong>Nusic Comp<\/strong> with <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/dogisdead?fref=ts\">DOG IS DEAD<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bootsbooklovers\">BOOTS BOOKLOVERS<\/a><\/strong> have continued to make a big impact on the Nottingham music scene.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/The-SMEARS\/\">THE SMEARS<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nNot your ordinary girl group, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/The-SMEARS\/\">THE SMEARS<\/a><\/strong> step it up a level with driving bass-lines, grunge metal madness and a fearless attitude, oh and we know it shouldn&#8217;t matter but they are fucking hot too. Their album, <em>\u2018Hell in High Heels\u2019<\/em>, teases fans with raw, gripping sounds. Known for provocatively enticing listeners, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/The-SMEARS\/\">THE SMEARS<\/a><\/strong> will have the crowd screaming for more. Pounding drums with distorted electric guitar and mysterious sounds, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PilgrimFathers\">PILGRIM FATHERS<\/a> <\/strong>music is brimming with something almost addictive. Hop on board (metaphorically).<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Grey-Hairs\/264148570291886\">GREY HAIRS<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nAlso performing are <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Grey-Hairs\/264148570291886\">GREY HAIRS<\/a><\/strong> , a band who&#8217;ve got their top new years resolution in early by already planning a 7 inch vinyl release in January. Known for their epic loudness, distinctive hard-core grunge sounds and general fuck you attitude, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Grey-Hairs\/264148570291886\">GREY HAIRS<\/a><\/strong> will help your ears see (yes we know we mixed our senses) in the New Year most disgracefully.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HMSNotts\">HER MAJESTY&#8217;S SERVICE <\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nAlso on the bill are <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HMSNotts\">HER MAJESTY&#8217;S SERVICE<\/a><\/strong> Formed in April 2012 from the ashes of THE TURF, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HMSNotts\">HER MAJESTY&#8217;S SERVICE<\/a> <\/strong>are pushing the boat out to create trully explosive raw punk sounds. Crowd surfing will be on the agenda as well as making sure you have a general blast of a time. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HMSNotts\">HER MAJESTY&#8217;S SERVICE<\/a><\/strong>, ladies and gents, are ones to watch.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/The.Wickets.The.Band\">THE WICKETS<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nRearing with energy, melodic rock band <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/The.Wickets.The.Band\">THE WICKETS<\/a><\/strong> are also set to perform. The band toured relentlessly around the UK and Europe in 2010\/2011 and has since gained a growing and supportive fan base. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/The.Wickets.The.Band\">THE WICKETS<\/a><\/strong> have an original spikey edge. Nominated for a <strong>MOBO award <\/strong> a few months back, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Ram1OFFICIAL\/180300722021690?fref=ts\">RAM1<\/a><\/strong> is heavily influenced by his upbringing which can be seen in his latest song <em>&#8216;My Habitat&#8217;<\/em>, which was filmed right here in Nottingham.
