Tonight Friday 15th February JAKE BUGG <\/a><\/strong>makes history becoming the first ever Nottingham artist to completely sell-out Rock City<\/strong> and that\u2019s not all\u2026

\nAnother incredible moment for Nottingham as JAKE<\/a> announces he is HEADLINING the main stage at none other than Splendour Festival 2013<\/a><\/strong> !!! It can\u2019t get much better then that!!!
\n
\nIt\u2019s been a stellar rise for JAKE<\/a><\/strong> since 2010 when he first caught the attention of Nusic (then Notts Unsigned) and This Is Live, doing sessions for both. In October last year he became the youngest British male to ever top the Album Charts, not to mention becoming the first Notts citizen to do so this Millenium, a dream fulfilled! Nominated at this years BRIT awards for Best British Breakthrough Act (#VoteBugg #VoteBugg #VoteBugg !), winning would make him the first Nottingham act to win a BRIT award in twenty years! #VOTEBUGG<\/a><\/strong>!!!!

\nAnd that\u2019s not all, the whole stage will be taken over by Nottingham artists. The main will again have the Nusic Future Sound of Nottingham<\/strong> competition winner gracing it. 20,000 excited music lovers being primarily entertained by homegrown talent, what other city could do that?

\nSaturday 20th July will be a historic day for the Nottingham music scene, and hopefully a very inspiring one too. We’ll see you down the front.
