\nThere’s some cracking gigs in good old Notts this week!
\n
\nFirst we have an experimental rock night at The Chameleon<\/strong> on Friday (15th).
\n
\nKicking off the night will be ALRIGHT THE CAPTAIN<\/strong><\/a>. This hard-working trio will absolutely take your beery breath away. They can go from dreamy, twinkly riffs to heavy, dirty noises and make it sound amazing! Expect extreme headbanging and strobe lights…
\n
\nNext up we have OCEAN BOTTOM NIGHTMARE<\/strong><\/a> with their mix of Punk<\/strong>, Pop<\/strong> and Rock<\/strong>. These boys are not only good musically, but excel in the field of in-between song banter. Prepare to be entertained.
\n
\nHeadlining the show are the fantastic PILGRIM FATHERS<\/strong><\/a>. Laying catchy, hard riffs under a deep, gruff voice, they really know how to get an already-sweaty crowd going. This band are the reason for the word rock.

\nNext we have 25 PAST THE SKANK<\/a><\/strong> playing a Rubberdub<\/strong> night at The Bodega Social Club on Saturday (16th).<\/strong>

\nThis loud 7 piece specialise in Ska<\/strong>, Dub<\/strong>, Jungle<\/strong> and everything that will get the music pumping through you causing you to skank out. Their crazy shows are full of people going mental. 3 years on and we’re still waiting for the demo…

\nAnd finally we have an awesome line-up at the beautiful Canal House<\/strong> on Sunday (17th).
\n
\nSemi-finalists of the Future Sound of Nottingham<\/strong> THE AFTERDARK MOVEMENT<\/a><\/strong> will be bringing together their diverse sound of Indie<\/strong>, Hip Hop<\/strong> and Reggae<\/strong>. So energetic and so passionate, you\u2019d be a fool to miss it.

\nNext GALLERY 47<\/a><\/strong> will be playing. He played T In The Park<\/strong> this weekend and is definitely set for big things. Just him and his guitar his voice is so fresh and light that you\u2019ll be mesmerised.

\nDuo SAINT RAYMOND<\/a><\/strong> are the words on everyone\u2019s lips at the moment. With classics such as \u2018She Said No\u2019 you won\u2019t be able to say no! With two boys and two guitars they create so much depth and many textures to their songs.
\n
\nAnother two piece LIFE IN LYRICS<\/a><\/strong> produce gorgeous harmonies and melodies that you have to stay and check out.
\n
\nAnd WINTER AND SUMMER<\/a><\/strong> will play some beautiful Acoustic fronted by the talented Alexa Hawksworth<\/strong>. She may be young, but her mature voice would never reflect this.
