SUMMER 2013

Our next School Tour is taking place this July (2013) with the help of New College Nottingham.

We are visiting eight different Nottinghamshire secondary schools between Monday 15th July and Thursday 18th July.

Headlined by ROB GREEN.

Support from BEN HAYNES.

Key Details:

– We will talk about the current vibrancy in the Nottingham music scene as well the buzz of doing what you love for a living, using that as a catalyst to get students thinking about what they want to do in their lives be that be a musician, a doctor or a fire-fighter.
– This event is aimed at secondary schools (we may visit primary if we have spare slots)
– Nottingham and Nottinghamshire only.
– State schools only (if we have spare slots that no state school wants we may then offer places to private schools).
– It’s free.
– A lot of people give up their time to help make these events happen for free, as such we do ask that at least 50 students are in attenance, ideally at least 100.
– It helps, and acts as a good work experience opportunity for your sound/ music/ theatre students, if you have a sound set-up we can simply plug in to. But we can sort this ourselves if needed.

Previous School Tours:

– December 2009 School Tour (under Notts Unsigned name) supported by One Nottingham.

– March 2010 School Tour (under Notts Unsigned name) supported by One Nottingham.

– July 2010 School Tour (under Notts Unsigned name) supported by One Nottingham and DARE.

– December 2010 School Tour (under Notts Unsigned name) with DOG IS DEAD and SKIMAN supported by Trent FM.

– 2011 and 2012 post the death of Trent FM we only did one-off visits as we didn’t have the ‘access’ Trent FM provided, or resources.
