SATURDAY

SANCHO PANZA are over at Rough Trade this Saturday courtesy of Phlexx, and they’re gonna be showcasing their saucy Dream-Pop to your eyes and ear drums. A relatively new band – but not that you’d be able to tell, as they’re already tighttttt as, and they got songs too! Like, lots of reallly good, really catchy dishevelled brilliance, in song form. Ya feel me?

Also supporting are the bosses of Indie-Rock, BROWN LION ZOO – a bunch of gents who have the fuzzy, melody-driven tip down to a T. Riffs, melodies and raucousness. What more could ya ask for?

Beach for Tiger from Essex are also playing.

SUNDAY

Fancy an evening of banging Hip-Hop, from Notts, and you’re helping raise money to build a school in South Africa? Well, convenient that, cos UoN Architects are putting on ‘LIVE! For Lesedi’ at 31K this Sunday, and it does just that.

Announced so far are TEE PETERS, NEBULA and KWOLI BLACK. Three MC’s, who are all world class at what they do. What is it they do, ay Nusic? Well, Tee – he’s really good at that whole storytelling in a ‘it’s like your really well-educated mate is filling you in’ kinda vibe. NEBULA – he’s a bit of a fascinating enigma – being really really good at the writing pop bangers side of things, but also being fierce on the Grime tip when he needs to be. And then there’s KB, who after a break away is back to showcase his poetic, almost stoic at times perspective on love and life. Plus, there’s more talented humans to be announced. AND A RAFFLE. Errrrybody loves a raffle.
