Poetic goodness, bags of melodies, plus a record collectors dream. x

TUESDAY

Acoustickle are back this Tuesday. Headlining is a Manchester don called KSR, but on the Notts tip is the posi-rap madness of LTMT, the poetic Jazz-y wisdom of TEE PETERS, plus loads more. Oh, and it’s at a new venue too, so it’s guaranteed to be a goodun. What else ya gonna do on a Tuesday?

FRIDAY

FADING BLONDE, the Pop-Rockers with duffle bags of catchy melodies, have finally got their debut EP together, and to celebrate – they’re throwing a launch shindig down at Rough Trade this Friday. Having already played some big gigs (eg, Rescue Rooms main stage), they’re gonna feel right at home in the cosy confines of Rough Trade.

Supporting – is a mega lineup. Kicking things off are the beautiful Dream-Pop / Atmospheric-Rock / We-don’t-really-know-how-to-define-them SONDERLUST. Can promise you they’re ace tho! MOLLIE RALPH is up next with her soulful, Bluesy, Poppy goodness, which, is FULL of insanely catchy choruses. Then, some of the best head-bangers in Notts (still jealous of Herbie’s hairflick), SUPER FURNITURE take to the stage to boss the Math-y Rock-y goodness.

SATURDAY

YO – can you believe it’s been a whole freakin’ year since Record Store Day? Nahh, me either. Well, as always – Notts is gonna be buzzing with a bunch of nerdy collectors, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY – a bunch of sick Notts bands.

The majority of which this year are at Rough Trade, who have a stacked lineup this year. From the RnBeeston vibes of NACTUS KUNAN, through to the juicy Psych-Rock of SANCHO PANZA. Full lineup deets HERE.
