Hello Comrades!

If you’re not snugged up in bed with flu like me, you should definitely get down to these gigs this week!

Our first gig is on Tuesday 25th October for THE CULT OF DOM KELLER at The Chameleon.

DOM KELLER are on second for this gig and in their own words “they sound like they’ve fallen from the back of Ken Kesey’s legendary LSD loaded magic bus”. I’m sure they’ll go down a storm upstairs in The Chameleon! You’ll have to go and see for yourselves.

Doors: 7.30pm
Tickets: £3

On Friday you can go to see SOUVARIS for their album launch at the Nottingham Contemporary.

The all-instrumental band SOUVARIS have been a bit quiet recently so the discovery of this album launch should be like music to your ears, literally! They have a way with their music, they aren’t afraid to explore different sounds and rhythms and we love that about them!

Doors: 8pm
Tickets: FREE

Our final gig of the week is on Sunday 30th October for THE FARMYARD RECORDS HALLOWEEN SPECTACULAR at The Golden Fleece.

A spooktacular (sorry) line up for you this night starting with SKA-RA-BOUCHE who’ll provide us with a moreish mix of afro-beat and ska. With 9 members expect a colourful, costumed set from this infectious band.

DICK VENOM AND THE TERRORTONES are up next. Prepare to lose your mind. They play cold, shiny, hard punk rock. End of.

THE BROOM HILL STRING BAND have some of the best songs names I have ever heard “Fat Bottomed Girls”, “Got My Mojo Workin’ ” and “The Monkey and The Engineer”. If that doesn’t intrigue you, I don’t know what will.

Doors: 8pm
Tickets: FREE

Yours In Love Of New Music,

Danielle
