To kick the week off, head down to the Acoustic Rooms Movember Special night at Rescue Rooms on Monday. Acoustic Rooms has hosted the likes of JAKE BUGG in his journey to stardom so this could well be the night to catch the next big deal.

The hotly tipped SAINT RAYMOND features on the bill for this chilled out event. His rousing choruses and tender voice is epitomised in the awesomeness of his track Bonfires which you can listen to on the podcast HERE.
GERRY TRIMBLE
GERRY TRIMBLE AND THE BASTARD SONS’ main guitar/vocalist will be going solo for the night. GERRY TRIMBLE is aiming to record an album with the collaborative contributions of a number of Nottingham musicians, so if you like what you hear make sure you say hi, Gerry might make be able to make you famous!
LOUIS SCOTT
Also performing for this good cause event is LOUIS SCOTT. Offering some chilled soulful acoustic sounds with smart and often witty lyrics, LOUIS SCOTT knows exactly how to charm a crowd. Be sure to catch his set!
ONEGIRLONEBOY are a duo making major ripples here at Nusic HQ. We will be having them in for a Future Session next month but in the meantime, listen to If This Is Love on the PODCAST. Great vibes!
Other names performing on the night are KEIRAN LEONARD, MAT SHEEHAN and the HEAVY HEADS. With homemade cakes for sale (with all proceedings going to the Movember charity) and happy hour prices, it’ll be a pretty sweet Monday evening, Tuesday morning may not be quite as fun.

AR MULAH and 2TONE
Ready for a party vibe? Then prepare to be two stepping when AR MULAH and 2TONE work their magic! AR MULAH’s statement We Live For The Friday and Saturday is true with the pair joining forces to deliver hard grinding beats non-stop. 2012 has been a big year for both AR MULAH joining Paperholicz and 2TONE’s (with his music being aired on BBC 1Xtra’s playlist!). This marks a cause for celebration so come and join in the party.
THE AFTERDARK MOVEMENT
Also performing alongside this incredible line up is THE AFTERDARK MOVEMENT. The Nottingham Future Sound Competition winners gave 110% at last week’s gig at The Bodega and there’s no doubt they will top it off again this Friday. NATALIE’S beautiful soulful voice coupled with the bands fresh contemporary sounds are a hit with their growing fan base. In the words of the band, It’s been crazy since we been here. Catch this DnB, hip-hop fusion perform; It’s something you don’t want to miss!
Vocalist HAYLEY QUEEN will also be performing and DJ Hemulen Soundz will be spinning the vinyl’s in between sets.

Saturday night brings with it the edition of another sexy Sounddhism line up with some of the freshest local soul talent, some tasty British Reggae and some cutting edge turntablism.

INJURED BIRDS
INJURED BIRDS can guarantee some quirky folk n roll that will get right under you skin and have you boogying around The Bodega in no time. Part of the Denizen Recordings family INJURED BIRDS have been getting some impressive airplay on Radio One recently and you should check out why they are our Artist Of The Month HERE. Their Hey Now, Hey Now Song is on our PODCAST. Worth a cheeky listen!
ATLAS
Other local faces on the bill include the fresh new electro outfit from Nottingham Uni ATLAS. ATLAS are equipped to entertain you with their trippy soul sounds fronted with angelic female vocals. Should be an absolute treat on the night!
ESTHER VAN LEUVEN
Making her name for herself, ESTHER VAN LEUVEN is one of the latest Nottingham female solo artists to break through. She has some great tracks with a hip electronic bass sound sound that rings out feel good soulfulness. Whats more, her mysterious delicate vocals float beautifully over the hazy dub and has an ability to stun a crowd. Collaborating with The Elementz , check out her track Calling’ Out, which is a banger!
Also playing on the night will be Manchester hip hoppers FRAMEWORKS and Brighton Reggae band The RESONATORS.
