The Nottingham music revolution is happening Comrades! Get involved by getting down to these gigs…

GIG ONE

MARC REEVESRemember Me” album launch party at THE MAZE with ALEXA HAWKSWORTH, ADAM PETER SMITH and WILL JEFFREY on Monday 20th February.

MARC REEVES produces music that is soulfully nostalgic with a twist of folky indie pop. This night is a celebration of Nottingham’s finest singer songwriters and acoustic artists, hosted by MARC REEVES to celebrate the launch of his new album ‘Remember Me’. Experience Marc’s fantastic tunes live in an intimate setting with some great support acts.

ALEXA HAWKSWORTH’s beautiful song writing ability with songs like ‘Pretty Like Bettie Page’ and ‘Superman’ shows sentimental, poetic lyrics that are impossible not to enjoy

ADAM PETER SMITH’s busker vibes and incredible vocal range create a folking fantastic acoustic sound that is ridiculously chilled. Check out our Future Session with him here.

WILL JEFFREY describes his music as “beautifully shambolic smokey folk”. His voice is one the most distinctive we’ve heard, watch out for a brilliant cover of “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air“.

DOORS: 7:30
TICKETS: £3 or £6 with a copy of “Remember Me” on CD.

GIG TWO

Noisey 365 Launch Party live at RESCUE ROOMS with FICTION supported by FRONTIERS and KAGOULE on Wednesday the 22nd of February.

Who doesn’t love a late night party with some spiffing bands and DJs? FICTION are headlining the VICE launch party show but we are more excited about the support bands on the bill. Why you ask? Cos they’re from Nottingham!

FRONTIERS are one of the best alt/indie groups in the city at the moment, epic choruses and rock n roll vocals that will guarantee to get you moving. Still not convinced? Listen to “Organ Grinder” here and you will be air guitaring around your kitchen/bedroom/underground lair or wherever you may be right now.

90s grunge and indietastic vocals will be provided by the much loved KAGOULE. The youngest band EVER to play ROCK CITY’s main stage thanks to Nusic and DOG IS DEAD, this 3 piece are utterly brilliant. Check out our Future Session with them here.

DOORS: 10pm – 2am
TICKETS: FREE

GIG THREE

Acoustickle at THE MAZE with GEORGIE HOW, MICHAEL LYNCH, WARBIRDS, DAMP COOKIE and EVIL JACK on Thursday 23rd of February.

If you’ve recovered from the night before’s shananigans then get yourself down to THE MAZE for Acoustickle, probably the best night in Nottingham for diversity of artists and chilled acoustic goodness.

GEORGIE HOW is a show-stopping act bound for absolute success, Georgie is unique in voice, song writing and stage presence. Her almost Johnny Cash inspired set is full bodied even in its early stages: it’s inevitable she will become well known in the acoustic circuit this year.

MICHAEL LYNCH soulful vocals and superb song writing is something to behold. Check out our Future Session with him here.

EVIL JACK will provide beautiful folk to surf and Rockabilly – these are the sounds of a lovely guy dubbed ‘Evil’. Come watch a relatively new kid on the block and be impressed with his multi-faceted ways.

DOORS: 7pm
TICKETS: £3
