Kicking off our Top Three this week we have a triple-threat of immense talent over at Stealth this Thursday.

 

Opening the night we have PAPER PLANE CRASH, who will be setting the tone for the night by using their sweet rhythm and tender sounds to tell stories that will leave you hanging on every word. Up next we have Nottingham’s wunderkind CJ MIRRA, who will be dazzling the crowd with his intense soundscapes. Headlining the night we have the ethereal Space-Rock of YOUNG LIGHT. The band comprises of members of AMUSEMENT PARKS ON FIRE and GIANT DRAG, both ridiculously talented Nottingham bands. So, expect an explosion of talent on the stage, that will leave you begging for more.

Next up we have some dazzling acoustic jams at Acoustickle’s Alley Cafe this Thursday. Free entry for a line up of sensational performances from some fine Nottingham acts.

 

First up we have some groovy Ska-Folk from CHESHIRE AND THE CAT, make sure to check out their Future Session with us! Next up we have some touching youthful pop from IAMSTARZ, before some warm singer-songwriter vibes from GEORGE HOLROYD get you moving. PHIL LONDON’s edgy take on Folk will warm your bones, just as JOSH WHEATLEY’s soft tones will warm your heart on a cold November evening. He’s due to play a Future Session soon, so make sure to get down and see him to know what to expect!

GIG THREE


Rounding off this weeks proceedings is Leftlion’s BLOW-OUT at The Corner this Friday, which showcases a jam-packed line up to celebrate the launch of their new issue. Warm up your Friday night with loads of different things to tickle your tastebuds.

 

FISTS are first up fresh from the release of their debut album (which was released on local labels Gringo Records and Hello Thor nontheless) and are kitted out with their unique sound of grunge combined with Country and Psyche. They’re due to go on a short hiatus too, so catch them sooner rather than later!

 

Next are the dark and bluesy DUSTY BIBLE AND THE CANADIANS with their beautifully executed album ‘Live On Dom Keller’s Time’ under their belt.

 

Indie popsters HUSKIES bring their ear-tingling lyrics and foot-tapping tunes that are sure to get you moving enough to stay warm on this cold winter night.

 

Spoken word artists DO OR DIE POETS add a spice of literary inspiration to the night alongside THE STIFF KITTENS who’ll be spinning the decks all night long.
