GIG ONE

Brought to you by our pals at Farmyard, pop along to the Jam Cafe this Thursday for some musical delights. With four tasty music treats lined up, enjoy the prospect of the approaching weekend here.

TASHA DEAN

She may be teeny tiny, but TASHA DEAN has a voice that can fill the room in an instant – just see in her Future Session HERE. Pop-filled R&B with touches of Soul, this girl can turn any venue into funk central, something which saw her whizz in to this year’s FSN finals. Pure pop gold!

JOY MUMFORD

With a wonderful combination of Soul and Folk welded together in harmony, there is a certain endearing vulnerability about JOY MUMFORD that makes her simply compelling to watch. With a simply crackin’ vocal and tunes sure to raise your spirits, don’t miss out on the joyous JOY MUMFORD.

ADAM PETER SMITH

Armed with just an acoustic guitar and some fantastic cheekbones, ADAM PETER SMITH will no doubt charm the audience with catchy songs and simply lovely vocals topped off by exceptional song writing skills. Check out his Future Session with us HERE to see the king busker at work.

JAMIE MOON

Taking influences ranging from The Beatles to Damien Rice, JAMIE MOON delivers brilliantly crafted acoustic Folk that is jaw-dropping and heart-stopping in equal measure. An artist who is rapidly making a name for himself on the Notts Acoustic scene, get to know this budding star at this event.

GIG THREE

Last year, the first ever Nottingham Rocks at the Theater Royal was an incredible success as well as a fantastic event. This year, it’s back for round two as four of our most renowned acts take to the stage backed by a four piece orchestra. A truly special event that will celebrate Notts music in all it’s glory.

GEORGIE ROSE

So if you’re even the faintest bit familiar with Nottingham, you will recognise this name. Without a shadow of a doubt, GEORGIE ROSE is one of our most hardworking acts. Beautifully crafted Acoustic Folk, her silky vocals and haunting performances are utterly captivating & it seems the rest of the UK are catching up with Notts and falling under Georgie’s spell. No doubt the addition of an orchestra will be heart-wrenchingly gorgeous.

AMBER

When they’re not studying at Nottingham University, AMBER are busy making awesome music. Fragility-laden but utterly powerful vocals are complimented by reverberating guitars and glorious melodies that  will have you either singing your heart out or sitting in stunned silence. If they can do this when it’s just four young lads, imagine their impact when backed by a full orchestra. Crikey.

HARLEIGHBLU

Reppin’ Notts Soul scene, HARLEIGHBLU has the ability to turn heads from her first note with an effortlessly gorgeous vocal. Signed to one of the UK’s leading independent labels Tru Thoughts & with an album for release next month, HARLEIGHBLU delivers sweet & sultry Soul you won’t be able to resist. Completely lovely.

SAINT RAYMOND

A lad who’s been dubbed ‘The next Jake’ more and more frequently, SAINT RAYMOND will be showing exactly why he’s earned such a title this Saturday.  His impossibly catchy, superbly crafted Indie Pop is a guaranteed smile-raiser, perfectly coupled by Callum’s cheeky charisma that had him signed to Asylum/Atlantic Records last month. A definite superstar of the not-too-distant future.
