The latest good vibes/ success headlines from the Nottingham music scene (that we know of), please drop us a line if we’ve missed anything significant (our definition of significant is something of national relevance) –

LIAM BAILEY got some National airwave loving thanks to Zane Lowe on Radio 1, as he made “Villan (feat. A$AP Ferg)” his Next Hype.

ONEGIRLONEBOY got played on the huge new National Batman prequel show, Gotham. AND, on American MTV (yes, they actually play music every now and again) thanks to a show called Awkward.

INDIANA invited fellow Notts duo SHELTER POINT on her entire UK National tour.

SAINT RAYMOND has been booked to play a headline Rock City show next year – if he sells this out, he will be one of only three Notts artists to ever do so!

SLEAFORD MODS will be featuring on the next Prodigy album. We can’t wait to see what they come up with.

Notts got its fifth letter in the NME in three years, thanks to Jared from LeftLion, who bigged up SLEAFORD MODS, JAKE BUGG, INDIANA, RONIKA, AMBER RUN, NATALIE DUNCAN, & LIAM BAILEY, oh, and the Hockley Hustle got a cheeky mention too.

SHELTER POINT got even more National radio loving from Zane Lowe, as they were made his Next Hype!

INDIANA sold out her Rescue Rooms show and joined only four other artists in the venue’s history to do so!

Hockley Hustle raised £23,850 for charity, Oxjam Beeston raised £12,500 – that’s £36k raised by Notts for charity over one mental, music packed weekend!

SLEAFORD MODS & RONIKA were both featured in the NME’s singles of the week section amongst the likes of Foo Fighters and Mykki Blanco!

ONE BIT had National radio play for an entire week, thanks to the BBC Introducing slot on Radio 1!

Notts received a double page piece of love in the NME for its DIY scene!

RONIKA will be supporting multi-million selling 80’s pop superstars Human League on their National UK leg of their tour later this year.

SLEAFORD MODS won the Six Music Rebel Playlist competition. Meaning you’ll be hearing the Mods on daytime radio!
