GIG ONE

Down at Jam Cafe this Thursday, you can expect to see some of the best Urban in Nottingham.

First up we’ll have KRIPTIK and ELJAY, who will be bringing a lively fusion of Grime to the stage. They’re both big names on the Grime scene so we’re looking forward to seeing how they come together to put on a live performance. They will be backed by BLESSING MAGORE and LANCE HUME, who are two well established local musicians in their own right. So we’re sure it’s a performance that you won’t want to miss out on.

Next up we have UJAHM. Possibly the “bounciest” Reggae band to be found in Notts. At first their uplifting Summer vibes may have you thinking of margaritas and beaches, but it won’t be long before you’re up and bouncing all over the place!

Finally, we have the Don’t Flop legend that is YOUTHORACLE. Known as one of Nott’s finest MC’s, he always puts on a good show. With an unstoppable flow, and deep, thought-provoking lyrics, you need to see this guy to appreciate just how good he is. He did a Future Session with us a little while back with Lance on guitar, so make sure to check it out if you want an idea of what to expect.

GIG TWO

You can expect to find four incredible local acts down at The Loft this Friday.

SAM JONES will be opening the night with some beautiful Folky-Soul and stellar songwriting. I know we’ve said this before, but the Splendour judges loved him so much last year, they opened up the LeftLion stage half an hour early just to fit him in; he’s just that good.

REBECCA KING will be showing off her incredible set of lungs, and no doubt giving a few renditions of the heavily Jazz influenced “Unspoken Words” EP, that she released recently. The producer of said EP, ASHMORE, will also be taking to the stage to deliver his unique blend of Jazz & Hip-Hop. Catchy hooks paired with clever rhymes make this guy one of the standout performers on the local scene.

Finally, we’ll have FAYE LARTLEY rounding off the night. Rather new to the scene, Faye makes beautiful little Acoustic numbers, that are sure to send shivers down your spine.
