HEAVYHEADS

Delivering a heady mix of lush vocals, beautiful harmonies and introspective lyrics, HEAVYHEADS take raw, unrefined talent and turn it into acoustic deliciousness. Look out for their ep ‘Kerouac’ – it’s worth far more than it’s free pricetag!

 

RYAN THOMAS

Taking his cue from Americana Blues, Ryan delivers twangy riffs, woeful lyrics and a beyond distinctive vocal that’s completely addictive. One of the most exciting blues artists in Notts, have a gander at his Future Session & see what we mean HERE.

 

JOE DANKS

Our FSN 2012 second runner up JOE DANKS is next. His ‘folk tinged pop’ reminiscent of Ben Howard is topped off by country vocals, cracking guitar and a violin thrown in to add that certain je ne sais quoi. Guaranteed Folk anthems that will have your feet stomping.

 

JAMIE MOON

Final act on the bill, JAMIE MOON is a rising star. Taking influences ranging from The Beatles toDamien Rice, Jamie delivers brilliantly crafted acoustic Folk. Fast making a name for himself on the local scene, make sure you check him out at this event.

IRYNA MUHA & SCOTT MARSHALL

A beautiful blending of French and Ukranian compositions from some familiar Nottingham faces, this duo make music that’s really quite lovely. They’re also one of the few acts we know who use a hurdy gurdy. Not sure what one is? Well that’s just another reason to head on down…

One of our hardest working bands, THE SWIINES are just what’s needed to kick start a night of debauchery. A vintage Rock ‘n’ Roll swagger and punchy choruses that will hit you like an anvil, this four piece are bringing Brit Pop back in a big way. Forget Manchester ’95, it’s all about Nottingham 2013.

 

Stiff Kitten DJs will be spinning the decks late into the night & Liverpool band The Hummingbirds complete the lineup.
