Diet? Clothing presents an evening of UP AND COMING talent at The Maze this Wednesday.

On the bill, is the incredible GEORGIE ROSE. 2012 has been a big year for the Mansfield-born star, having received airplay on John Kennedy’s XFM show and battling her way through to victory in the nationwide PeaceMix Competition. And to top that off, musician Billy Bragg described the singer-songwriter as ‘A Young Adele’. There’s no stopping GEORGIE ROSE, she’s on a roll and 2013 is just the beginning. Indie pop band THEM BALLOONS are sure to keep you entertained with a mash up of uptempo tunes. They’re so good they sold out their gig at the Red Rooms in November for their ‘Memento’ EP launch. Indie acoustic singer THOMAS ROPER will be playing a few originals on his guitar. With influences including Bright Eyes and Dallas Green, THOMAS ROPER has a quirky style that may even encourage you to have a good ‘ol sing along with him.

ALICE ASHLEY’s dream-like vocals and chilled acoustic style will have you wanting to check out this singer-songwriter more. She recently performed at Oxjam’s Takeover and is working on new material which she is writing and producing. Catch her perform at this event.

Back again for another night, NA Music presents Showcase Night featuring a host of talent at The Guitar Bar this Thursday. The line up ….

There’s no denying that ROSANNA O’BRIAN has a quality voice and she’ll be showcasing her talent for your eyes and ears. Catchy lyrics and beautiful melodies, ROSANNA O’BRIAN will have you hooked from the get go. Check out her song, ‘You Let Me Down’ on the New Music PODCAST.

Armed with a guitar, ANWYN WILLIAMS is set to perform a chilled out acoustic set with a rhythmic vibe. She’s got some really good material and she’s been rated by the likes of Notts legend Roo Inns , and there may even be an EP on the horizon.

Known to impress crowds with his edgy folk pop sounds and distinctive vocals, JOSH KEMP is a natural performer that will move you. His Xmas single ‘Coming Home To You’ was featured in our article highlighting Notts artists Xmas singles HERE.

Singer HAYLEY QUEEN is no stranger to singing in pubs and clubs to earn a living. Her beautiul soulful music and sweet vocals are what make her live performance unique. Be sure to check her out.

ANDE HUNTER from acoustic Rock band HUNTING HELEN will be going solo for the night. With influences ranging from Mumford and Sons and James Morrison to The Kooks, ANDE HUNTER performance will still be ‘acoustic but bigger’, but without the harmonies.

Keep an ear out for Community Recording Studio (CRS) singer MARITA as she is soon to release her new 6 track CD. Her ability to work the crowd and entertain with her feel good soul music has gained her much recognition, especially performing on the BBC’s Introducing Stage at Reading & Leeds Festival with Kirk Spencer. With bangers like ‘Turn to Gold’, you sure will be in for a treat!

Head down to the Shut The Fuck Up acoustic night at The Chameleon this Friday. Heres the line up ….

The sound of Bluesy folk artist RYAN THOMAS will blow you away. His Seasick Steve like vocals coupled with the sound of his bling resonator guitar is a catch. A born performer, RYAN THOMAS’ performance is spellbinding; as you can see in his Future Session HERE. We predict 2013 will be big for him…listen out for him on the PEOPLE’S PODCAST Monday morning.

Notts Duo CHARM OF ACHILLES will amaze you with their slick vocals. Considering that they first started making music last summer, their alternative Rock music is impressive. Pulling out all the stops, CHARM OF ACHILLES will make the evening worthwhile. Meanwhile, you can check out their song ‘Two Lives’ in our Podcast HERE.

Acoustic jammer EMMA BLADON JONES creates deep emotive music which naturally draws you in. She’s extremely talented and has a natural gift for songwriting. Her song ‘Iris of War’ is very moving, and you can hear this for yourself HERE.

DAN HEATHCOTE, a singer-songwriter signed to Unit24 Records. More things from him in the iminent future as he is currently recording his debut album which he has already named! Keep a look out for the release of ‘LIMBIC SYSTEM’.

Acoustic Duo THE STEADY SOUND are also on the bill. Chilled acoustic is whats on the cards. Their song ‘In The Moment’ is a winner.
