GIG ONE

This Wednesday make a difference with the Stand Up to Cancer fundraiser at The Maze. Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK have joined forces to launch Stand Up To Cancer in the UK, raising funds to turn breakthroughs in the lab into breakthroughs in treatments to beat cancer.

One of the talented acts is DANIEL SCOTT, a young Acoustic Jazz act with a delightful vocal. DANIEL SCOTT takes his musical influences from Coldplay, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole yep random. So his soothing vocal will be a great way to start the evening off.

Headlining is THEM BALLOONS, a five-piece Alternative/Indie/Pop band, who take their influences from the likes of The Libertines, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Arctic Monkeys. THEM BALLOONS are sure to keep you entertained with a mash of up-tempo songs. Judging by last years sold out EP launch at Red Rooms, they will definitely round off your evening on a high.

Also performing are Mixed Reactions, Stephanie Cargill, DAVEY ROCKS and LIBBY MCLEROY. This event is sure to be a great evening full of a variety of artists all coming together for such a worthy cause.
